Went here for Sunday lunch. The roast beef was excellent. The place is quaint and service was excellent. We enjoyed everything tremendously. It was a little out of the way for us but definitely worth it. The place is kept well and run well. Everyone was very pleasant. If you have t been here, you must go. If you have been here, you must go back. I know we will.
Great food and service! This was a really nice place to stop off and grab some lunch with a friend. Portion sizes were very generous and the staff were great at informing us so we could choose well.
I went with my mum for Christmas dinner. It was lovely. The tables weren't cramp up, the food was very nice can't fault anything at all. We'll be back for Sunday lunch at some point.
Excellent relaxing camp-site. Spotlessly clean. Entertainment was a bonus on Saturday night. Restaurant is really good and service is second to none. Highly recommended place.
We celebrated my wife’s 70 birthday in the function room on Saturday. The venue is one of the best in the area and has character with modern facilities. With a lot of help from Vicki and her fabulous staff we had a great party. Entertaining 28 family and friends, there was nothing but praise from guests regarding the venue, staff, buffet and bar. We have already put dates in diaries to return for meals in the restaurant with family and friends. We highly recommend The Thatched Cottage but please book the restaurant to avoid disappointment, as in our opinion it is well worth a visit for a lovely lunch or dinner. Once again a big thank you for making our day a special occasion.
A lovely little site and very quiet. Not sure about security on site as random people were walking into wood behind and coming out behind caravans and taking a short cut through site.
Just had our first visit and cannot fault the service,value for money, atmosphere, delicious food. From the first contact of booking our table to the final bill outstanding customer service and wonderful food. We shall definitely return thank you so much.
